The Biggest Twitch
The Brief
blahdblah had initially created a website for The Biggest Twitch that allowed Alan and Ruth to update it with news of their adventures as they travelled around the world for a year setting a new birdwatching world record. Now back in the UK and running The Biggest Twitch as a birding tour company, they wanted a new site that would promote their guided tours and still allow them to post news of their birding adventures.
The Solution
A new website, built with the new
blahCMS web management system but keeping all the best bits of the original site, allowed The Biggest Twitchers to not only promote their new tours, but also post regular news blogs to keep in touch with their followers around the world, and also included an online shop for selling the book of their adventures.
The results
The flexibility of being able to update the news blogs via computer or smartphone app when they’re out and about allows The Biggest Twitch to blog regularly about their birding trips, which encourages more followers to book more trips to blog about ... a real virtuous cycle! Birdwatchers from all over the world have ordered books through the online shop, and the Biggest Twitch brand has been rolled out across leaflets, flyers, pull-up banners and magazine ads.
