Smart Grids

The brief

EA Technology asked blahdblah to help relay key messages regarding the Smart Grids proposition. EA Technology strive to make their message as clear as possible to the layman and a variety of different stakeholders. Smart Grids illustrates not only the processes within EA Technology - from innovative research through to taking a product to market, but also the overall backdrop to this which is the evolution to a low carbon network. blahdblah were asked to produce a logo for Smart Grids and to produce several print items.

The solution

blahdblah produced a colourful, modern and informative grid design which could then be applied and echoed in a number of ways across the print media. The design reflected the need for clarity in an industry that is not always easy for the layman to understand.

The results

The logo was also animated by blahdblah and used as a presentation tool by EA Technology, was used across print media and on the EA Technology website. blahdblah also animated graphic for use in presentations and added hyperlinks to detailed data sources so that the graphic was useful for both external facing and internal team presentations, providing a link between detailed planning and marketing. Smart Grids is an approachable and easily accessible brand.
